SGS Peach Oatmeal Recipe

Recipe Ingredients:

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1 ¾ cups milk (plus ¼ cup more if needed for extra creaminess)
  • ½ tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp honey or brown sugar
  • ½ tsp cinnamon
  • ⅛ tsp nutmeg
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • ¾ cup SGS peaches, diced 
  • Optional toppings: Extra peach slices, maple syrup, granola

  1. Mix & Prep: In a medium microwave-safe bowl, combine oats, butter and milk. Stir well to get everything evenly incorporated.
  2. Cook: Microwave for 1½ minutes or until the oats are soft and creamy. If you like a looser texture, stir in an extra ¼ cup of milk after cooking.
  3. Sweeten & Spice: Stir in the honey or brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and vanilla extract. Mix until well combined.
  4. Fold in the Peaches: Gently mix in the diced SGS peaches—fresh for a bright, juicy bite or canned for a softer, syrupy touch.
